For my baby born in January, I wore a button down pajama top and buttoned it from behind (by my low back), so only my arms, back, and shoulders were covered. Then I folded the comforter in half so it came up no higher than my waist (baby's feet). I was pretty cold, but still managed to sleep ok. Definitely less comfy than my babies born in summer, though!
we got rid of the fluffy duvet et al, mom and dad each had our own blanket and baby had his own little blanket. dressed baby warmy and mom in long sleave, open in the front shirt for easy nursing without cold shoulders. sleepsack blanket sleepers for baby are great too andmake for easier middle of the night diaper changes.otherwise, just the same as any other
Hi, I've been reading about bedsharing because we want to sleep with our baby when she arrives next February. It's going to be winter and cold and we normally use a duvet, but I've read they are dangerous for bedsharing. Any ideas about how to be able to sleep with a newborn in winter? Thank you!
