have you tried a baby carrier? I have about a dozen of them. Especially when they are young like your baby, you can carry them around while they nap and go about your business. I used a back carrier for certain chores, and a front carrier for other chores. You could try a moses basket type bed also, and have him nap in the same room you are in. Babies really learn to sleep with noise around them and it's an easy way to make sure they are safe.
My 2 month old son sleeps with us at night. During the day he takes his naps in his swing. My oldest daughter, now almost 5, slept with us, but I always held her during naps, or slept with her in our bed. I can't do that anymore now that I have two other kids to take care of. I don't want to always have to put him in his swing but I can't hold him all the time or nap with him. (I wish I could!) Just wondering where everyone else puts their baby for naptime. My bed is the only other place he wants to sleep besides his swing, but he seems to only want to be in the bed if I'm in it with him. Any suggestions?
